05/28/21; Week 6: Response to "Attributional Tendencies"
I want to share with you something very personal, I can say that it is something very special, something very deep and sensitive about my life. As I shared in my previous post, I had a very beautiful childhood with my brothers and my mother, as time went by we reached adolescence and due to life circumstances my mother undertook a trip to another country and I never thought that from that moment would begin our independent adventure and survival in the real world, the life.
This adventure
begins with the fact that I had just graduated from high school and wanted to enroll
in the university, and I said; I am going to take a break for a year and the
next I will go back to my studies, but it was not like that, that next year I
got a job and I loved having my own money and being able to afford my own
expenses without the help of my mom or dad, and it really took five years of
working non-stop, but then I started to feel that I was stuck, that I needed
something else to get ahead, then I saw that several of my friends were about
to graduate from university and I started to feel sad with myself by saying; I
would also be about to graduate and become a professional. So, because of these
events, I enrolled in university to study Law, but I failed because the degree
did not meet expectations and closed, and thus another year came over me, a
year passed and a degree opened that caught my attention and there my studies
took their course.
I have had
training based on many falls, which are undoubtedly the ones that have prompted
me to get up and thanks to God with more strength each time. While I was training
as a professional, I changed jobs until I found one that fits my studies to
have theoretical knowledge and complement it with specific work experience, but
that never happened, because when we are independent we have to work on what is
available, and it could not be otherwise. I am aware of my failures, because
they are mine and no one else is to blame for that, but I can say that if my
parents had been together, things would have happened earlier. I finally obtained
my university degree as an Engineer in Human Resources Administration, but life
is sometimes unpredictable, because that degree led me to get the best job in
the world that I love so much and I do it with a lot of passion; today I am a
teacher and I feel too proud of that, of serving my community, that really
makes me feel successful.
I have always
believed that my Heavenly Father protects my brothers and me, because we grew
up alone within a lot of vulnerability and he, the Holy Ghost never allowed
something bad to happen to us, and even fall into temptations or bad steps, I
can say that we succeeded, since we are good people and we are useful to
community. Today I can say that my life is not so complete, but I do feel
fulfilled and satisfied with myself, because I have been moving forward little
by little and I am beginning to reap the fruit of that sacrificed effort
throughout my life, and for all that effort today I am what I am and I owe it everything
to my Heavenly Father, amen.
Hello Santiago. Thank you for sharing your story, I feel identified with her because a similar lake happened to me. The important thing is how we act in the face of circumstances and what we can learn from experiences. We all react in different ways because we are different but how important it is to have skills and talents that can guide us with God's help to where we want to go.
ReplyDeleteAmen! Santiago, it is true that everything we are we owe to our Heavenly Father with him we learn to recognize our mistakes and to change and start again, when we seek his guidance we will always reach our goal of course we will pass challenges but we will have the courage to continue. Thanks for sharing your experience.
